Classes

Rediscover joy and ease in your body, whether in a group or private class; beginner-friendly course in yoga fundamentals; or nature-inspired workshop in our studio in Hoedspruit, Limpopo, South Africa.

During our time together,
you can enjoy:

  • Creative mix of movement modalities (inspired by FluidUs, Yoga Synergy, Embodiment, SomaSensing) as well as breathwork and meditation
  • Weaving of somatic movement practices and regulation techniques
  • Supportive space to build your yoga practice and confidence—always with the opportunity to ask questions
  • Focus on whole-body movement and exploring the right approach for you
  • Personalised approach: I love getting to know you

I focus on movement, not exercise. I believe we can find strength in softness. My classes can be unconventional. You are welcome, no matter your yoga experience.

Group Classes

Enjoy our yoga, movement and holistic classes and workshops, hosted by a team of multi-talented teachers/facilitators with a shared passion for mind-body-spirit connection.

Slow Flow

A lightly energising practice, with plenty of time to pause and replenish, and where the transitions are as carefully tended to as the poses. May include somatic movement and regulation techniques. Rooted in Hatha Yoga; inspired by Yoga Synergy and SomaSensing. Accompanied by music.

Fluid Flow

An embodiment practice, in which we explore intuitive movement like body spirals, floor play and fascial unwinding. Focuses on movement from within, dynamic balancing and deep imaginings in the body. Includes breath play and lymphatic work. Inspired by FluidUs Academy. Accompanied by music.

Vinyasa Flow

A more structured practice, in which movements are consciously synchronised with the breath, which serves as an anchor and allows the asanas to flow smoothly into one another. Includes pranayama, meditation, chanting and deep relaxation. Accompanied by music.

You and Me (Privates)

One-on-one sessions offer the chance for a more personalised experience and greater support. A private may be right for you if you’re a beginner wanting to grow in confidence, tend to feel shy in group classes, or can’t make the class schedule. Alternatively, gather a small group of family and/or friends who’d like to practise together.

Good to know:

  • Privates (60 minutes) can be in-person at the studio or online.
  • I teach a maximum of 3 privates a week.
  • I charge a base rate of R500 per hour (1–2 people) plus R100 per person thereafter.
  • I also offer Movement Medicine packages (at least 3 sessions). These consultations are a deeper exploration of how you feel in your body and include guided movement, touch (if appropriate for you), somatic practices and energy healing. Payment plans available.

The 3 Rs of a Creative Life

“Beyond the mechanistic, reductionistic view of life, there exists a sensing, feeling, knowing, living organism. This living body, a condition we share with all sentient beings, informs us of our innate capacity to heal from the effects of trauma.”

— Peter A. Levine (Waking the Tiger: Healing Trauma)

"I love how diverse Renata's approach is: her Slow Flow classes are a perfect mix of strength, mobility and simply bringing the mind back to the moment. Renata always keeps in mind each person's capacity, but challenges us to progress in specific areas. These classes have had a positive impact on my personal life, both physically and mentally. I’ve also noticed an improvement in my posture and general awareness of my body (and mind!)."

Jeremy

"Renata comes to my house once a week for a one-on-one session, allowing me to enjoy yoga set at our own pace. Her positivity and guidance make the sessions truly enjoyable, and her passion for yoga and holistic well-being is evident in every aspect of her teaching, creating an uplifting and motivating environment."

Lucy

"I so enjoy Renata’s movement classes! I instantly warmed to her gentle, fun, light and non-judgemental way of teaching. Very much appreciating the freedom to express and move in my own way, I never feel pressured to hold poses for too long, or to conform to traditional expectations. I find the gentle, flowing movements really support in strengthening and toning my body, in a most natural way, without any joint pain or pressure. Renata is confident in her presentation, intuitively feeling into the group dynamics and each person’s individual needs, allowing each session to flow accordingly. I especially enjoyed the Soft Soma workshop—it was fabulous to have extra time to delve deeper into this unique modality, and to be able to share and interact with the other participants too."

Lynette

"Thank you, Renata. We really enjoyed your Fluid Flow Immersion workshop. It was something different for the mind and body, which is always a good thing, and you are a wonderful teacher—made for it!"

Kate & Olive

"Yoga with Renata has been healing and calming and beautiful from the get-go. Within just a few classes, I found my hip pain relieved, and I found myself feeling stronger and more flexible. Personally, the mental benefit of yoga is my favourite part. I find myself being able to be in the moment and take ‘just this hour’ for myself and not think about any of the stresses of life outside the doors. There is something calming and reassuring about the way Renata guides you. Every class leaves me in a calm and grounded state and ready for the day."

Kerry

"The 3 Rs of a Creative Life is empowering, interactive and stimulating. I felt sorry that each session had to end—and that the course itself ended! Through a series of exercises and discussions, Renata explores the nature of creativity with you, and gives you tried-and-tested techniques and tools to nurture your own creativity. I felt happy, light, inspired and supported. What a gift it was to be part of this."

Anna

"Renata’s classes combine structure, play, accuracy, focus and relaxation. I’ve become so much more aware of the subtleties of the body and have been able to draw my yoga practice into my daily life through this more conscious understanding of how the body should move and rest."
